The Effect of Clinical Practice on the Career Choice of Students in Physiotherapy

Abstract

|
PURPOSE : The purpose of the research is to find out the satisfaction level of the clinical practice after the clinical practice of students in the department of physical therapy, and to find out the impact of clinical practice on career decisions in major employment and the choice of desired institutions and fields.
METHOD : The subjects of this study are consist of 342 students of department of Physical therapy university in Busan, ulsan, gyeongsangnamdo and college in Busan Data are collected from October 8 to October 27 in 2020 by structured online questionnaires.
RESULTS : Although the field of preference is the same as the field of actual practice and the field of preference after practice, other groups are highly satisfied with the field of preference before practice. Although the preferred major institutions are different before and after practice, the same group is highly satisfied with the major institutions that have been trained and the preferred major institutions after practice.
CONCLUSION : As a result, it was confirmed that the satisfaction level of students in physical therapy departments in clinical practice affects employment preference institutions and fields.
